Excellence Today. Exceptional Tomorrow.
My wife Amanda and I chose Johns Creek for the reputation of our schools. As a parent with children in elementary, middle, and high school, I am uniquely invested in the success of every classroom.
I’m Jean Antoine and I am running for Fulton County School Board District 5 to provide the corporate leadership discipline and collaborative vision needed to protect our foundation and lead our students from excellent, to exceptional!
Community is at the heart of everything my wife, Amanda, and I do. When we moved to this area in 2021, our decision was driven by one clear priority: the reputation of the North Fulton schools. We chose to plant our roots here because we wanted our three children to grow up in a district that values excellence, and we’ve been proud to call this community home ever since.
As a parent with children currently at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, I see the full spectrum of our district's strengths and challenges every day. My commitment to the Fulton County School Board District 5 is personal. I am running to ensure that the high standards that brought my family here are not only maintained but elevated for every family in Johns Creek and Alpharetta.
Parent. Leader. Neighbor.
Professional Leadership & Vision
With a background in sales leadership and strategic management, I am uniquely equipped to evaluate complex budgets and set high-impact policy. Leadership is about more than oversight; it’s about creating an environment where teams—and in this case, students—can succeed.
I am running for Fulton County School Board District 5 to apply these proven professional principles to our district's governance. By focusing on data-driven decision-making and clear accountability, I will ensure our policies translate into improved academic outcomes and a stronger future for every student in our community.
I am Jean Antoine, and I am asking for your vote for Fulton County School Board District 5. Our district is already defined by its incredible students, dedicated teachers, and engaged parents. We are starting from a position of strength, but our goal must be to move from great to exceptional. I am committed to crafting policies that reflect our community’s high standards and prepare our children for a rapidly changing world.
1. Elevating Academic Achievement
We will move from great to exceptional by prioritizing core competencies and innovative curriculum. Our students must remain competitive on a global stage through high standards that prepare them for a rapidly competitive world. I am committed to policies that challenge our highest achievers while ensuring every student has the tools to succeed.
2. Proactive Enrollment and Revenue Strategy
The rising trend of private school enrollment combined with a slowing public school population creates a significant fiscal challenge for our district. Every student who opts out represents a loss of state funding that should be supporting our local classrooms. I will work alongside community leaders and educators to identify the root causes of this shift and find innovative ways to keep our families in the system. By collaborating on strategies that enhance our competitive edge, we can stabilize our enrollment and ensure our schools remain the primary choice for every family in Johns Creek and Alpharetta.
3. Transparent Community Partnerships
Trust is built through open communication and mutual respect. I will strengthen the bond between the board, students, parents, and teachers by ensuring that major decisions—especially those involving school capacity or budget shifts—are made with the community rather than behind closed doors. You deserve a board member who listens first and leads with transparency.
4. Strategic Fiscal Stewardship
Fiscal responsibility means directing every tax dollar where it matters most: the classroom. I will bring a sales leader’s discipline to the budget to ensure we maximize our resources and protect the student experience. We will focus on smart infrastructure and safety investments that secure our schools for a 21st century learning experience.
